Our Personal Wedding Manager Jenna was absolutely amazing; we don’t know where to start with how incredible Jenna and the team were. She took control of everything; We can’t thank her enough! She went above and beyond, she is a true asset to Holmewood Hall and we can’t thank Jenna and the team enough.

Ivy trailing across the walls and windows, twinkling with candlelight, set the scene for a romantic fairytale that’s about to unfold. 15 rooms of varying themes provide a combination of comfort and aesthetic to guests who have the assurance of a worry-free night following their celebrations.

Guests raved about the meal and the accommodations for dietary restrictions they received. The selections were varied but equal in their quality. Drinks waiters and bar staff ensured that no glass remained empty and that all guests had the chance to enjoy whatever beverage they pleased.

Laura was absolutely a dream to work with. She met all of my needs and exceeded my expectations. I didn’t have to lift a finger on the wedding day! Keep up the amazing work. If I could relive my wedding day ten times over, I would still choose Holmewood each time.

Absolutely beautiful venue! Friendly staff answered all our questions and gave us space to walk around alone, as well as giving a tour. No need for lots of decorations, but some of the additional structures, like the flower wall and LOVE letters, were nice for pictures and to add some colour.

The dining room was set up perfectly and looked gorgeous. All the rooms were stunning, and guests loved the venue too. Gorgeous grounds. The patio space was ideal for the reception, and the lawn was large and nice for games and photos. The setup was lovely and done as we wished, our Personal Wedding Manager was quietly in the background and ensured it ran smoothly. Staff serving food and drinks were brilliant.

Rain meant we couldn’t have our planned outdoor ceremony, but the alternative set-up was done perfectly and without any questions needing to be asked, so it caused no stress at all. We were moved outside as soon as we were able.

Incredible food! All three courses were amazing, and guests loved it – we had a lot of compliments on the food provided. Thank you to Laura for helping us have the most incredible wedding day!

Beautiful, period features are a highlight. Kept clean and well/tastefully decorated. Before the wedding, we received a warm welcome, emails were responded to quickly, and all questions were answered. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lee and Laura were excellent. Communication was very good with quick responses to emails, and questions were answered. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. All team members were excellent throughout the day. The bar staff were attentive and flexible with guests, encouraging them to utilise their drinks tokens and also with our pre-paid bar tab.

Canapes were delicious, and lots of our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed them. Excellent that these could be done gluten-free. The fish and chips were excellent. It was brilliant that this could all be gluten-free and that the kitchen could be so accommodating with this. As a coeliac bride, this made a big difference to me, enabling me to enjoy the day without risk of contamination or having to check if food was gluten-free. It made me relax and trust in the kitchen and was delicious too, so thank you so much. All bar staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. All staff were excellent and contributed to running a really slick and well-organised day from beginning to clean up and breakfast the next day. A number of our guests noted how well organised the day was, and it meant we could really enjoy ourselves and took away any stress/worry from the day.

When we viewed the venue, we felt really at ease, not rushed into making a decision or needing to leave for another viewing. Polly, our Personal Wedding Manager, was brilliant, giving advice during our planning meeting and answering all our other questions very quickly via email.

Everyone was amazing! It was a really hot day, and the staff were very accommodating. Especially as one of our elder guests was finding the wedding breakfast room too hot, the staff set up a table in their overnight room and brought their food to them. Everyone was really polite and helpful; we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Polly ensured the day ran really smoothly; she was really relaxed, which made us feel relaxed. We only saw Polly at the times in the day when we needed to see her, but she was always on hand when we needed anything. It was great to have her there on the day.

We received comments from lots of guests that the food was some of the best they’ve had at weddings. Everything we had was delicious. It was clear to see the attention and care given to dietary requirements and allergies. Breakfast the following day – Again, it was clear to see the care taken around allergies. One of the coeliac guests commented that they rarely see GF croissants served, so that was great to see. These were great, and the number of options available was also fantastic. We loved having summer cocktails rather than the normal prosecco!

The house is absolutely stunning… clean, tidy and presented to a very high standard. The grounds are also stunning… very well kept! Gorgeous rooms, clean and tidy… had no complaints from our wedding guests.

We had Jenna as our Personal Wedding Manager, and I cannot fault her one bit… she was amazing. Not once did I feel like I was hassling her, and the communication from her was second to none. She was extremely informative during our planning meeting, but also in the run-up to the big day.

Cannot say anything other than the team was amazing on the day! The wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious… not one person had anything negative to say… they all loved it! The bar and waiting team were amazing… my family on table 8 wanted me to give a mention of Ben, who they said was extremely good.

The whole experience was amazing, and I wish that I could relive it all over again! I have told my dad and husband to start saving so we can come back and do a vow renewal, as the experience was just so amazing, I could do it all over again!

We had the pleasure of getting married at Holmewood Hall last week. From the moment we saw the beautiful house and tasted the canapes, we knew this was where we would get married.

Lee, our wedding co-ordinator, was fantastic and made the contract and all expectations clear from the beginning. Communication was fantastic throughout. We loved the food and the tasting dinner. On the day, the catering team introduced themselves and ensured that we were happy throughout our meal. It was a warm day, and everyone did what they could to keep us cool. Lee and all the staff made us feel completely at ease and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you for helping us have the best day! The welcome drinks were perfect, loved the raspberry mojito!

The grounds are stunning – we had so many people comment on how amazing the house looked from the outside. Any contact with the venue was always positive, and they could not have done enough.

From finding out Jenna was our wedding manager, to the moment we checked out the day after the wedding, we were in frequent contact, and she was so reassuring and supportive. Jenna is very personable, and I honestly can’t compliment her enough. Even our friends and family said how amazing she was. She’s an absolute credit to Holmewood Hall!

We opted for the afternoon tea upgrade, and it was amazing. We had so many people say how lovely they were. The wedding breakfast – all the food was cooked to perfection, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stunning! We felt like we didn’t need to pay thousands on decor because the house was just breath taking. Obviously well cared for, feels like luxury.

One of the biggest things for us is that you have so many rooms so guests can spread out. We decided to get married outside because of how gorgeous the bandstand and grounds were. We even saw two full-sized deer wandering around, a lovely sign that it’s embedded in nature. The outside of the house itself has the real wow factor. We knew the second we drove up that it was the venue for us.

All of our guests had a comfortable stay; rooms were all unique and it also gave us options to have different family members stay on different floors. Lee was really helpful and responsive, I never felt like I couldn’t ask a question, and he was quick to respond and helpful! The staff were ON IT! Nothing was too much to ask, they clearly love what they do and are experienced. We had nothing but lovely things to say and so did our guests.

Everyone raved about how good the food was! Portions were huge and the quality was amazing. My husband and I had the beef, we’ll probably have dreams about it for the foreseeable!Thank you to Lee and Laura! You both made our wedding day perfect!!
