Holmewood Hall is a gorgeous wedding venue. Before we were assigned our PWM, Katie Davies was always very helpful whenever we had general questions.
All of the rooms are incredibly well presented but some just take your breath away. The hall and staircase are such a beautiful location for the first dance, and it is impossible to not fall in love with the Gold Room where we had our ceremony. The house has a very elegant and timeless feel, without sacrificing the rich history behind its architecture.
It was lovely to have a beautiful outdoor space to explore on the day. Our guests enjoyed playing croquet and chess on the lawn and having somewhere cool to sit outside. The grounds are well-maintained and create a stunning backdrop for outdoor photos with a number of features, like “the mound”, fountain and bandstand. The rooms were all incredibly elegant and comfortable, but the bridal suite is simply show-stopping. The customer service was excellent prior to booking: all communications were prompt, polite and informative.
Jenna was our PWM, and she was a complete angel from the beginning. She is incredibly well-organised, and we felt instantly confident that she would run our wedding flawlessly. On top of this, she was always full of enthusiasm for our day, and very thoughtful whenever we had questions. The wedding breakfast food was all beautifully presented and delicious. The portion sizes were perfect and all of the guests’ dietary requirements were catered for.
