‘I pride myself on my customer service and my personal approach. I’m not a salesperson by any means so there is never the “hard sell” with my consultations. I’m an artist and my work is very personal to me and helps me see things in a wedding day that someone without the experience and creativity wouldn’t. I’m always looking at ways to improve my skills, even after 11 years in the wedding industry, I love to learn new photography techniques.’
‘From the moment I arrive at a wedding I’m loving every minute, giggling with the bridesmaids and sharing a joke with the groomsmen is so much fun.’
‘Capturing the important details really allows me to be creative, from photographing the dress or suits to the candid photos where I’m out of sight capturing all the natural smiles, laughter and the tears. That’s what makes a photograph come alive.’
‘That moment the wedding party walk down the aisle is so exciting for me, seeing the faces of their loved ones light up to the nerves on the bride’s face for example, can illustrate so many memories in just one photo, and I get to capture it!’
‘When I take the couple out for their photos, I encourage them to interact with each other. Whilst there’s always some gentle direction from me, I like to let the couple be themselves as this is what truly makes a photo for me. We will take a walk around the grounds and with gentle direction will guide the couple. Very rarely will I ask the couple to look at me as this eliminates any natural expressions.’
‘Group photos: I prefer to photograph no more than 11 groups so there’s plenty of time for the couple to enjoy their day without it feeling like a photo shoot.’
‘During the cake cutting and first dance this is always very natural and I will use creative light to highlight the couple. During darker hours I will ask the couple if they would like to head out side for some photos again using some creative light. This is a lovely time for the couple to spend a few minutes together before joining their guests for their evening entertainment and I can capture some fun dancing photos.’
