Dinner Date Evening – Friday 21st June 2019

We are excited to announce our first Dinner date evening on Friday 21st June 2019! Join us and explore the venue once again to experience the presentation and taste a selection of our Chef’s mouth-watering creations whilst sampling the excellent service our waiting staff provide.

The evening will start with a drinks reception, a delicious three course meal will then be served followed by a disco with our resident DJ so you can dance the night away with your loved ones – you can even stay over in one of your guest bedrooms or the impressive Renaissance Suite!

The house is open from 5.00pm for you to wander at your leisure, check into your bedroom for the evening, take in the gorgeous gold room again or stroll around the grounds of the house.

From 7.00pm you will be greeted with a glass of prosecco in our Great Hall and the Garden bar will be open for you to have a further drink or two at or sit and relax in one of the many reception rooms before dinner.

Dinner is then served in our beautiful dining room at 7.30pm where just the two of you can dine, or you can bring mum’s and dads, sisters, brothers, best men or bridesmaids too… The more the merrier!

The evening will then carry on in the Vault where our resident DJ will have you dancing away until 12.00am.

Our Chefs have put together a specially selected menu, from both our Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer main menus, for you to come along and enjoy….

Three Course Evening Meal

Starters

Ham Hock Terrine with Piccalilli
Confited Ham Hocks garnished with Salad Leaves and served with Homemade Piccalilli

Crayfish Cocktail
Crayfish tails & prawns with homemade Marie rose sauce on a bed of mixed leaves

Mozzarella and Rocket Salad with Tomato and Chilli Salsa (V)
Toasted garlic bruschetta, topped with rocket salad and slices of creamy mozzarella, garnished with tomato, red onion and chilli salsa

Carrot and Coriander Soup
made with fresh Coriander, which complements the sweet flavour of the Carrot

Mains

Roast Pork with Apricot and Stuffing
A tender piece of Pork on bubble and squeak, garnished with sliced Toffee Apple and Cider Sauce

Free Range Breast of Chicken Stuffed with Chorizo
served on Sweet Onion and Potato Lyonaise with a Roasted Tomato and Smoked Paprika Sauce

Herb Crusted Salmon
On a bed of julienne vegetables with a chive butter sauce

Roasted Vegetable Wellington (V)
Roasted seasonal vegetables encrusted in puff pastry served with a cranberry reduction

Desserts

Baked New York Style Cheesecake
Finished with summer berries- just like in the Big Apple

Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brownie
With dark chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream

Apple and Blackberry Tart
with Blackberry Ice Cream Crisp butter pastry filled with Autumn fruits topped with Almond frangipane

Raspberry Parfait
Fresh raspberries blended with a rich egg custard and cream, frozen and garnished with raspberry coulis

Prices

Your Dinner Date evening is £46.00 per person which would include a welcome drink, three course meal with tea/coffee and evening entertainment

Bedrooms are offered on a first come first served basis at £100.00 per room which includes breakfast the next morning. The Renaissance Suite is available for £250.00.
